Tourist visa

is granted to citizens of the Czech Republic, citizens of other countries and stateless persons for a short-term stay in Russia for tourism purposes based on a tourist letter of invitation issued by a Russian agency serving as a tour operator (included in our service).

Maximum duration of a Russian tourist visa is 30 days.

The tourist visa enables you to participate in short-term negotiations, attending exhibitions, auctions as well as medical checks and examinations. Under these circumstances there is “special purpose tourism” stated under “purpose of your stay” and the visa is granted for a particular number of days needed for the procedure to be executed in compliance with data stated in the confirmation of the stay (however, maximum period is 30 days).

The tourist visa may be single or double entry.

The double entry visa is granted only on condition that a visit to neighbouring states (CIS, Baltic states) is expected, or a state you return from across Russia (e.g. China, Mongolia). A detailed itinerary of the journey is attached to the visa application (or the itinerary is stated in the Tourist Acceptance Confirmation).

The following documents are necessary for granting a single or double entry tourist visa:

1. Passport valid at least for 6 more months after leaving the Russian Federation. The passport should have at least one empty double page, i.e. no stamps or records on it

2. Coloured photo with dimensions of 3.5x4.5 cm with a clear front image of the applicant´s face on a white background, no dark glasses and headgear (there is an exception for citizens whose photos with headgear appears in their passports as well)

3. Travel insurance valid for the validity period of the visa allowing you to stay in the Russian Federation territory unless stated otherwise by an agreement between the states (we can arrange this for you)

4. Copy of a passport double page (possible to be sent by email as a part of an online order).
