The business visa

is granted to citizens of the Czech Republic, citizens of other countries and stateless persons entering the Russian Federation for business purposes (negotiation, seminars, conferences, meeting with business partners, doing business).

It is granted based on a business letter of invitation issued by the Federal Migration Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation or on a basis of a written invitation by a Russian legal entity*(included in our service).

The visa may be single or double entry visa with 90-day validity, or a multiple entry visa with one-year validity (unless stated otherwise by the Russian Federation Agreements.)

NOTICE! On the basis of a multiple entry visa, the total stay of a foreigner in the Russian Federation territory shall not exceed 90 days within every 6 months. 

The applicant is obliged to submit a travel insurance confirmation of the journey/s to the Russian Federation when applying for a multiple entry visa. 

 

The following documents are necessary for granting a single, double or multiple entry business visa:

1. Passport valid at least for 6 more months after leaving the Russian Federation. The passport should have at least one empty double page, i.e. no stamps or records on it

2. Coloured photo with dimensions of 3.5x4.5 cm with a clear front image of the applicant´s face on a white background, no dark glasses and headgear (there is an exception for citizens whose photos with headgear appears in their passports as well)

3. Travel insurance valid for the validity period of the visa allowing you to stay in the Russian Federation territory unless stated otherwise by an agreement between the states (we can arrange this for you)

4. Copy of a passport double page (possible to be sent by email as a part of an online order)

5. Copy of the previous visa which has been used within the past 12 months (any type of visa apart from the transit visa) - applying for a multiple entry business visa for 1 year

6. When applying for a visa for 2 – 5 years the applicant is obliged to submit two multiple entry visas used within the past 2 years. 

 

Warning! Unless you are a citizen of the Czech Republic you will attach the following documents to your visa application:

1.      A permanent residence permit to stay in the Czech Republic for more than 90 days. It is related to the following states: Albania, Bahrain, Venezuela, Egypt, Haiti, Ireland, Lesotho, Libya, Macedonia, Mali, Mexico, New Zealand, the UAE, Oman, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Sierra Leone, Ecuatorial Guinea, South African Republic and Japan.

In compliance with valid legislation a document confirming permanent residence for more than 90 days may be as follows: student visa, labour visa, labour permit or permanent residence permit.

2.      Citizens of states listed below will be asked for a permanent residence permit in the Czech Republic or a similar document: Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Georgia, India, Iraq, Iran, China, North Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Syria, Somalia, Chad, Sri Lanka and Etiopia.
